Alhamdulillah and syukur to The Almighty Allah for His generosity, in providing us with continuous strength and effort in fulfilling and making our humble requests a reality right from the beginning. Of course, a lot of thanks too, to our Sabah Director of Education for his fully support to make our website a success and not forgetting our Divisional Education officer of Sandakan. Thanks to all teachers and staff for our newly developed website which by all means is part of our striving for success .

In accordance to the governments policy towards enhancing the using of English among its officials, as Head Master of this school, my nawaitu in using English in some pages of this site is nothing but most of it to try, in our very own way to improve our English usage.

Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Anib III which was started in January 6, last year has just celebrating her 1st Anniversary early this year , is one of the best primary institution in town. Of course, as a new school , SKSAIII is trying her very best to be one of the best if not until her 1st UPSR products real soon. As a new school , I am always of course, exposed to various unexpected problems both internally and externally, and who they are if not all my dearly staff to come and help me . For that contributions, they deserve my undividedly trust, confidence and pray that their dreams would be a reality one day.

As head of the school, I would like to thank all members of staff and all those who have contributed towards the success of the school . It's my humble pleasure to wish and hope SKSA3 a success in her performance in 2004 . I am greatly touched that almost 30% of our teachers is involved in furthering their studies in various local universities through distance learning programs. English proverb says we are never too old to learn and Shakespears says nothing will come of nothing if we really understand our objectives and so was Tun Dr.Mahathir, who said success will never come without struggling.

Lastly, my very humble prays to all my staffs success . Allah bless you all.

About our Head Master . . .

Encik Ibrahim Mohd Salleh completed his Form V in 1974 at SMK Sandakan. He joined Sandakan Teachers Training College in 1975-76. He, then, started his teaching profession at SMK Beluran in 1977. After college, he made six STP / STPM trials where in 1986 he managed to get it at last. In 1996 he undergone a one month primary school management course at IAB Utara in Kedah Darul Aman where in 1998 he went for a 14 month HRM diploma course at the same institution. In 1999, he started his bachelor degree in education majoring economy at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He completed his first degree within four years of part time study at the age of 48. Throughout 27 year of teaching , Encik Ibrahim had served at several schools such as SMK Beluran, SMK Elopura Sandakan, SMK Tawau, SRK Ladang Sabahpalm as Head Master, SK Pekan Beluran as Co-Curriculum Senior Asst. and Senior Asst. I and SK Anib III Sandakan as Head Master. His most favorite hobby is computer where he had been attending for 6 computer courses while serving at SK Pekan Beluran. His ambition is to grab a Ph.D degree before he retires. 2004 is a lucky year for him indeed ! With continuous encouragement and support from his beloved wife and kids, he is just doing his master degree at Universiti Malaysia Sabah majoring Economic Administration starting this year. His motto of striving for success has proven that his elder son is doing his 2nd. year bachelor in education majoring social science while his second elder son is doing his 1st. year bachelor in music both at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. His striving for this master degree is nothing to do with his professional status whatsoever, he always wanted to be a role model to his entire family , he wants his five kids to at least grab a bachelor degree if they can not go on to any further , by having these tickets he hopes they may live in their very own country happily and loyally.

SENARAI TUGAS GURU BESAR


1 PENGURUS KERJA IKHTISAS


a) Penyelia dan pengawal polisi dan objektif sekolah yang telah diasaskan dan diselaraskan daripada polisi Kementerian Pendidikan dan objektif Pendidikan Negeri dan negara.

b) Menentukan sasaran sekolah, merancang dan melaksanakan proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran sukatan pelajaran, rancangan pelajaran, jadual waktu, penugasan guru dan
sebagainya.

c) Menentukan kualiti volume kerja pelajar-pelajar dan pemeriksaan buku-buku pelajar.

d) Menentukan polisi-polisi mengenai ujian dan peperiksaan serta menggunakan data-data untuk perancangan dan tindakan susulan.

e) Menyelia proses pendidikan sama ada dalam bilik darjah, pemeriksaan buku rekod guru atau perbincangan dengan guru .

f) Memeriksa buku kemajuan pelajar, buku profil, buku kedatangan dan buku kegiatan kurikulum dari masa ke semasa.

g) Menentukan polisi untuk aktiviti ko-kurikulum

h) Membaca dan meneliti laporan kegiatan ko kurikulum serta memberi nasihat dan bimbingan kepada guru dan pelajar.

i) Mengajar sebilangan waktu.



2 PEMBANGUNAN MAJU DIRI MURID

a) Menentukan polisi-polisi mengenai pelaksanaan disiplin secara menyeluruh. Mengendalikan kes-kes disiplin yang dirujukkan oleh Badan Disiplin, berjumpa dengan ibubapa dan penjaga, guru ko-kurikulum dan sebagainya.

b) Melaksanakan projek-projek khas seperti P N P, menyelia dan menilai keberkesanannya.



3 PENGURUSAN DAN PEMBANGUNAN ( MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT)

MURID-MURID

a) Menyelia pendaftaran kemasukan dan pertukaran murid.

b) Menyelia buku jadual kedatangan murid.

c) Menyelia pemberian bantuan kepada murid-murid.

d) Menyelia Skim Pinjaman Buku Teks serta menentukan polisi dan senarai pelajar yang layak dan tidak layak.

e) Menentukan polisi berkaitan dengan peperiksaan awam seperti menentukan mata pelajaran yang akan diambil oleh murid.

f) Menyemak dan menandatangani sijil berhenti sekolah dan surat akuan.

g) Memastikan program-program kesihatan dijalankan dengan sempurna supaya wujud tahap kesihatan yang tinggi di kalangan murid.

h) Bertanggungjawab ke atas pembuangan dan penggantungan murid-murid.

i) Bertanggungjawab ke atas keselamatan murid di sekolah.


4 PENGURUSAN PERSONEL

a) Menentukan pendaftaran, pengesahan dalam jawatan, penempatan ke dalam jawatan berpencen dan jenis cuti kakitangan sekolah.

b) Menolong kakitangan menentukan sasaran kerja dan berbincang dari masa ke semasa mengenai sasaran dan mutu kerja.

c) Menentukan tugasan dan bidang kerja (development of staff) dan menjalankan penyeliaan sepanjang tahun.

d) Mengambil tindakan / laporan tatatertib ke atas pegawai di bawah bidang kuasanya.

e) Menjaga kebajikan kakitangan.



5 KEWANGAN

a) Mengawal dan menyemak pemberian perkapita, gaji kakitangan, rekod akaun, laporan kewangan dan punca-punca kewangan suwa dan kerajaan.

b) Mengemaskini penyata akaun sekolah yang belum diaudit dan membuat tindakan susulan ke atas laporan audit.

c) Mengawal stok-stok dan harta benda sekolah.

d) Mengawal perbelanjaan yang dibuat oleh semua bidang dan membuat anggaran perbelanjaan tahunan yang kos efektif.


6 KEMUDAHAN FIZIKAL

a) Memastikan keadaan fizikal bangunan, padang dan persekitaran sekolah berada dalam keadaan baik.

b) Mempertingkatkan keceriaan dan kecantikan sekolah.

c) Menyelia dan menjaga kemudahan dan keselamatan bangunan sekolah

d) Memastikan perabot sentiasa berada dalam keadaan baik dan membuat pengagihan yang berkesan.

e) Menyelia dan mengawal sistem pencegahan kebakaran.

f) Bertanggungjawab ke atas harta benda sekolah.



7 PEMBANGUNAN ORGANISASI DAN DIRI (SYNERGY)

a) Merancang dan menyelia aktiviti perkembangan staf seperti kursus dalaman, perbincangan, berkongsi maklumat, merangsang budaya, mencari maklumat dan pengetahuan serta memberi peluang kepada guru memperkembangkan diri.

b) Mengawal `learning experiences dengan berdasarkan pemerhatian, data dan salinan serta menggunakan maklumat yang diperolehi untuk pembangunan `learning experiences murid.

c) Melaksanakan kursus kesedaran dan pengunggulan kendiri guru.

d) Penglibatan dalam aktiviti-aktiviti pendidikan komuniti.


8 PEMBANGUNAN DIRI (PERSONEL DEVELOPMENT)

a) Membaca makalah, buku-buku ikhtisas, pengurusan dan filosofi, menghadiri kursus, seminar, bengkel bertukar-tukar fikiran dengan rakan-rakan sekerja.

b) Menjalankan kajian , mengumpul data dan menghasilkan kaedah yang baru yang lebih berkesan.

c) Menerbit artikel-artikel yang berkaitan dengan bidang ikhtisas.
